FIRST SLOW AND SUSTAINABLE TABLET LURE FOR MONITORING AND MASS TRAPPING OF DIAMOND BACK MOTH
MANTRA DBM contains synthetic blend of Plutella xylostella pheromones incorporated in an innovative solid tablet based slow and sustained release matrix that ensures a steady and constant release of pheromone for a period of 60 days in the field from the day of installation. This product is intended for use as an attractant for trapping Diamond back moth, Plutella xylostella in cole crops. This product helps to reduce the intensity of pest incidence, leading to a reduction in crop damage thereby improving the crop yields. This tablet lure suitable for commercially available white Delta sticky trap. The lure is highly specific to target pest, no harm for non-target and farmer friendly insects.
Target pest: (Plutella xylostella).
Target crop: Cabbage, Cauliflower & Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Chinese cabbage, radish and turnip
Uses: For monitoring and mass trapping of Diamond back moth (P. xylostella).
Composition: Synthetic Pheromone blend of DBM- 5 mg, Other inert materials- 245 mg
Dosage: For monitoring 5 traps per acre and for mass trapping at least 15-30 traps per acre. One tablet per one trap, Replace lure every 60 days
Recommended Trap: White Delta sticky Trap
Time of application: Within 15 days after transplantation
Re-application: Changing lure every 60 days
Application Protocol
Use white Delta sticky trap for the purpose. The traps should be placed on the crop canopy level. Use one MANTRA DBM tablet lure per trap. The lure efficacy lasts between 60-65 days from the day of installation depending on the prevailing weather factors. Use at least 5 traps per acre for monitoring and 15-30 traps per acre for mass trapping. Take out tablet from the strip (contains 15 tablets sheet) and each single tablet lure should be placed inner side of the delta trap by using lure holder or ceiling tape. The tablet lure in delta traps should be installed within 15 days of crop transplantation.
CHANGE OF LURES AND TRAP SERVICING:
Tablet Lures should be changed once in 2 months. All used/exhausted dispensers and other packaging materials must be removed away from the area being monitored and properly disposed. DO NOT try to open or tamper the unused dispensers.
NOTE:
To avoid affecting the efficiency of the trapping system it is strongly recommended to use the traps for only one species. Never use lures meant for trapping other species together.
STORAGE:
Store product in original sealed package in a cool dry and well ventilated place, out of direct sunlight and out of reach of children. For optimal shelf life, do not exceed 75°F (25°C). Do not freeze. Keep away from the other pesticides, fertilizers, food or feed. Do not reuse.
