PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
MANTRA REPCOL contains Verbenone, an antiaggregation Pheromone embedded in a solid tablet based slow and sustained release matrix that ensures a steady and constant release of pheromone for a period of 90-120 days in the field from application. Use of MANTRA REPCOL VERBENONE tablet dispensers helps to repel many species of coleopteran beetles and weevils away from the treated area and guards the trees throughout the season. The target pests of MANTRA REPCOL includes, Rhynchophorus ferrugineus, Oryctes rhinoceros, Mountain Pine Beetle Dendroctnus ponderosae, Western Pine Beetle Dendroctonus brevicomis, Southern Pine Beetle Dendroctonus frontalis, Round headed Pine Beetle Dendroctonus adjunctus, Pine Engraver Ips pini, Northern Spruce Engraver, Ips perturbatus, California Five-spined Ips, Ips peraconfusus, The coffee berry borer, Hypothenemus hampei, Coffee white stem borer, Xylotrechus quadripes, Tea shot hole borer, Euwallacea fornicatus etc. The targeted crops include Pine trees, coffee, tea, palm etc.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Application: Prior to use make a punch hole on the pheromone volatiles release path provided below each tablet blister in the strip and also two needle holes on the blister to enable the air entry and release before application.
Timing: Deploy the dispensers before initial beetle flight, probably between May and June.
Other crops: use 100-200 tablets (25-50 blister packs) per acre depending on the pest pressure
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: Generally safe to handle. However, avoid skin and eye contact while handling or application. Use personal protective gears such as hand gloves, goggles, mask and apron while handling. Remove contaminated cloth and wash before reuse.
